Fear of Love

At the moment this was made I was feeling betrayed and hurt by someone I loved most. Using Micron pens, acrylic paint, watercolors, paint markers, and colors pencils, I was able to depict myself in the ultimate death scene created from my scarred emotions. I was heavily inspired by anime art styles and the bright colors and scenery seen in them. I depicted love as the devil and created a perspective as if we were falling through a stormy sky. I used mostly purple and black undertones, while using red, blue, and yellow for my lights. Sizing placement, and shading techniques - such as hatching - , created the depth.
