Growing Wings

Mixed media photography piece about a boy who flies too high in the sky, and gets shot down by the moon. These two frames represent the scene of attack.

The picture is of a 3D made set, sort of like the "I-Spy" picture books. The set was made of found objects - beads, felts, pillow stuffing... while the character was made out of clay, wire, and tissue scraps (clothes).

The power of perspective and angles did the rest.

For lights and effects, I brought the photos into the PicsArt app you can get on an iPhone, computer, etc... and used their effects. I later brought everything into Adobe Photoshop to clean it all up.
